80s Television Nostalgia, Holiday Style

BetaXmas.com is a website dedicated to one of the more colorful eras of television in the 80’s, the Holiday season. As soon as you visit the site, a virtual television set greets you with any number of various 80’s holiday specials and sitcoms, complete with genuine 80’s commercials in between. As an admin for a web design directory, this is one of my favourite sites to visit when things are quiet at work.
On BetaXmas.com, if the default show doesn’t perk your interest, a remote is available to switch between the three available channels. If you’re not interested in what may be showing at that particular time, you may check the TV guide in the upper right corner for the upcoming schedule. The programming is quite varied and in one sitting you may get an episode of Perfect Strangers mixed in with an episode of Gobots. The commercials sometimes run a little long, but that’s part of the fun. You’ll see products and old toys you haven’t thought about for years, and it’s always a treat to see what comes next.
