The significance of social interaction on the internet

posted on 23 October 2011

Do you know that it is possible to meet and interact with millions of people without leaving the comfort of your seat? Well, that it the miracle that has come with social networks. Features such as Facebook Groups Help billions of people to share their thoughts, opinions, and feelings, all this with nothing more than typing them into a comments area. Do you know that social networks have been proven to be relievers of stress? With the busy schedules of the modern people there has been little left in the way of social meetings. People have become so busy with their careers and with other demands of life that they barely get time to go out with their friends. Social networks have become points where people can offload all their feelings after a stressful day and they do not have to keep it all in. The only problem with this is that so much has been dedicated on social networks that personal relationships are losing meaning on a physical level. All this is because interaction has been limited to the internet.

How you carry yourself matters a lot

You could be famous for being the most beautiful girl on the screens of your hometown, but your behavior speaks very differently of you. You also might not be very pretty but you have a well behaved character in you that people cannt help but fall in love with. It is not a matter of who you are when you are using a script to represent yourself during acting it is how you conduct yourself when it is just you without the cameras. One person that has made people fall in love with because of her character, smile and how she talks to people is kate hudson. She is one person whom when you stay with even if it is just for five minutes will leave an impact in your life that you cannot manage to forget easily. She knows when to portray work ethics and when to be just the normal her when not in a shooting mood. It is good to know when you are supposed to be stern with people and when to be friendly otherwise people may mistake you for who you are.

Social sites offer a lot more than just gossiping

posted on 8 July 2011

There was a time that I thought social sites like facebook were completely shallow and that all that happened there was just pure gossip. This was because I saw many young people who spent so much time in these sites in that they lost touch with the normal world. I even thought that the reason why they were in these sites is so that they could gossip but I was wrong. Just the other day, my nephew paid me a visit and told me that the only way that I could be able to reach the younger demographic when it came to my business was through social sites like facebook. I looked for the contact facebook uk phone number but he told me that I had to email them. He told me that there was no number for customer care and he assured me that emails were even more effective than phone calls. He was right about the emails and the marketing strategy and am glad I was wrong about the fact that facebook is for people who like gossiping.

Why some people are not enrolled in social networks

posted on 24 June 2011

There are too many social sites on the web today in that users get overwhelmed when it comes down to choosing which social network that they want to get affiliated with. I have no preference, I do not like social networks and I am not a member of any social site and it does not seem like I am missing out on anything. When it comes to site like Facebook, it is not a place I would even want to put any of my personal information because there are so many kids in that site. The average age of a member is thirteen so you can imagine the number of minors in that site and how easy it to get in to trouble if a kid lies about his or her age. MySpace is also not an option for me because it is not a safe site at all. Friends Reunited also has Friends Reunited problems. Not many people are in this site and having a good number of friends will not be an easy task at all.

Why people decide to use abusive language on the face book

posted on 16 June 2011

There is nobody who likes to be abused in either way. People donnt like it because itts not ethical to start abusing somebody for nothing either by engaging into a fight or to throw words of abuse to them. This makes others feel bad because thatts not what they expect from others. There are people who hate to be abused and they are the same people who like to abuse others something which is not fair to people. Most of the abuses which are reported to be on the increase are from social networking sites. Facebook report abuse is reported to be on the increase each and every day among the users. They donnt it just because they are enemies but they just want to test patience of their friends and how they will react. Abuse destroys the reputation of a person among the friends. Others donnt take it seriously since they also choose to be part of the joke. Abusive words and language is not encouraged not only in websites but also to real life situation. People with this behavior should try to be sensible and not to make others feel remorse.

Graphic Design: Learn From Established Companies

posted on 17 May 2011

People say creativity is innate - you can't learn it. I disagree. You CAN learn creativity - it's not ALL about learning of course, but you can train your brain to think in more creative ways and creativity comes through practise and determination. Looking in Google for a search term like creative design agencies london, I see that also there are certain designs that are common among agencies - this is because design isn't PURELY about creativity - it's a discipline that works to certain rules - this is true for both print design and web design. Sure, we can come up with conceptual designs that are "outside the box" but if they're not pragmatic and useable, what's the point? So remember that creativity and function must work together. You're not designing for the Tate Gallery, but for people to read, use or consume in some way - your design.

Power: On the One Hand, But then On the Other Hand

posted on 5 March 2011

Our contemporary world is so saturated with words and images that it is hard to notice the tremendous power influence the messages around us can exert. I have had two different experiences, one positive and the other quite negative, of power conveyed through graffiti. On the one hand there was the emotional and psychological pain felt by a high school student and her family when an angry peer used spray paint to scrawl his hostility toward her on a local bridge. The large, coarse, unpleasant words smacked them and everyone who knew them in the face every time they travelled by this place. The sting of these words and the public display of hostility was a terribly negative and hurtful experience. On the other hand, I have travelled in Northern Ireland and toured Belfast to better understand the politics, turmoil and efforts toward peace in the more recent history of this strife-filled place. One of the most powerful testimonies to “The Troubles” along with the grief and hope of this city is portrayed by the graffiti – the powerful memorials, tributes and other expressions of grief, hope and aspiration is astounding to behold. This is a very different style to the more familiar graffiti like Banksy street art. These astounding murals are works of art and reveal the soul of the Irish people. They are instruments of peace born of broken hearts and broken lives. They hold the power to mend those hearts and lives, too.
