On My Kitchen and Its LED Lighting

When we were in the process of moving house, I was obsessed with looking at various kitchens and their varying designs.

When we moved in to our house our kitchen had tow lamps hanging from the ceiling. They were both connected to a single light switch. However the switch is far from the kitchen table and from our living room door. This meant that lights we left lights on often. Because the lights were using halogen bulbs, they were consuming a lot of electricity. We decided to replace all the lamps with more expensive LED lamps. Now we can keep the lamps burning while we are awake, and not worry about destroying the world with electricity over consumption. The light from LED lights is a bit cold, but one gets used to it pretty fast. Cooking at first felt a bit sterile. However, after few months of use I dont even notice the difference anymore. It might be that there is more natural light coming from the kitchen windows too. I do feel less guilty having lights on in the kitchen during day time and even when I am not in the kitchen.
